Alive Music Orchestra to host AMO’s 30th Annual Christmas Show – The Vacaville Reporter



Alive Music Orchestra will be hosting their 30th Annual AMO Christmas Show on December 10 at Valley Church in Vacaville.

The show will include traditional Christmas carols and popular Christmas carols, meant to remind people that the holidays are a season of peace, family and the birth of Christ.

Appreciate lead singer of AMO’s big band, pastor Frank Salamone of Dixon Cornerstone Church, lead singer Leah Walker, Brette Stout and other local musicians, as well as AMO director and jazz saxophonist Ken Stout with the ‘former director / trumpeter of AMO and twin brother, Keith Stout.

The AMO show incorporates an American tradition originally founded by Bob Hope’s Christmas USO tours overseas, honoring and entertaining the troops.

“We always include a special dedication to our troops and their families, praying for a safe return home,” Stout said in a press release. “It’s something our Stout family holds dear, especially around Christmas time. “

The AMO Christmas Show will recognize AMO’s musicians, singers, actors and support staff who have served the community for many years.

AMO will accept donations of love at the end of the program, which will be used to support the Vaca Jazz Society Youth Music Camps led by USAF retiree Mike Williams, formerly of the USAF Band of the Golden West at Travis Air Force Base.
