Ensemble of young musicians Tektek Nota! presents a classical music concert with a twist on Sunday October 3, 2021. Tnax-Il Stilla airs at 10:30 am at Palazzo de la Salle in Valletta and is open to the public for free.
Directed and composed by Luke Vella, Tnax-Il Stilla’s repertoire will consist of a mix of 12 known, unknown or lesser-known classical composers from different countries of the European Union.
Fragments of music written by these twelve composers will be adapted into a new repertoire of pop, rock, Latin, swing, tango and a contemporary idiom, among other genres. Composers range from the classical period until the end of the 20th century, covering a wide range of musical history.
During this project, participants acquired a broader knowledge of European music history in terms of notable composers, their music production and their compositional techniques.
In the spirit of together.eu community, young musicians who have volunteered to participate benefit directly from the opportunities available to them at European level and will be encouraged to continue to express their ideas on the future of Europe and to become more involved in the community. democratic process.
