Teaching staff (music) – Singing teacher of popular music

Sunday, June 19, 2022, 11:35 p.m.

The Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music and Dance in London is seeking to appoint a professor of popular music.

The BA Music Performance and Industry is a new three-year undergraduate program in popular music that complements a wide range of studies across the Faculty of Music.

As a singing teacher, your job will be to teach students individually and occasionally in groups. You will carefully cultivate their vocal technique and musical sense as they become a professional musician. We believe that students should always find ways to apply their advanced musical skills and techniques to create an individual voice, informed by an open and critical approach to all music. The vocal and mental health of the students is of great importance.

The incumbent will ideally be an exceptional singer and an insightful teacher who can teach voice across genres and share a love for music. You will join a growing team of world-class creative musicians and, as such, you will be role models for our students.
